The consultant must be proficient in accounting and finance basics in order to help the client articulate his needs and achieve his goals. We are seeking a consultant who can understand department objectives and system frustrations and then translate them into appropriate customizations and/or fixes to the Deltek application. The Candidates needs to understand Deltek from the front and back ends -- as a user and a programmer. Knowledge of SQL 2005 needed as well as an understanding of the Deltek table structure. The candidate must know if the user interacts with the application, which tables will be impacted. The job would be simple tasks like adjusting authority levels and user groups up to more complex projects like solving problems, doing clean up, configuring functions, and adding new modules.
