My client is seeking an Intellectual Property Systems Manager to be based in any of its offices nationwide (San Francisco; Palo Alto; Broomfield, CO; Washington, DC; New York; Boston; Reston, VA). The IP Systems Manager is primarily responsible for the IP Management System (currently CPA Inprotech), integration of all specialized technology needs of patent and trademark prosecutors with Firm systems, enhancement of departmental workflow and efficiency through technology solutions and improvement/expansion of client-facing services. Candidates must have 5+ years IP Systems Management experience in a professional services or law firm environment and thorough knowledge of HTML, JavaScript or .NET, C# ASP. Strong relational database knowledge including SQL is also required as is previous IP supervisory or senior level patent/trademark paralegal experience. Knowledge of CPA/Inprotech IP Management System and experience as Project Manager for conversion of patent or trademark docketing system is preferred.
