We are looking for a Sr. System Administrator. This is a 3+ month contract position for our client in Thousand Oaks, CA. The consultant should be familiar with DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP networking in a LAN and a WAN environment, LDAP, NAS and SAN storage, scripting, anti-virus software, and various web services such as MS IIS. Additional requirements include knowledge of Opsware and/or Tivoli for automated patching and provisioning and experience with clustered environments in support of MS SQL Server database environments. The consultant must be able to work autonomously, and have the ability to provide advice (including performance tuning suggestions) to internal clients such as Database Administrators, J2EE WebLogic Administrators, Storage Administrators, Backup administrators, as well as Application Support Administrators. Extensive experience, preferably more than 5 years, in Windows (NT, W2K, W2K3) in large enterprises is a must.
