HUDSON is seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract position located in VA.
Key Professional Skills:
· Fluent Spanish language skills (written and verbal)
· Quantitative data and financial analysis skills Background should be more in financial analysis than accounting Background should be more in supply chain than accounting
· Experience in vendor contract negotiations (buy side preferable but consider sell side) Familiarity with key contract terms (e.g., term, termination, minimum commitments)
· Proven writing skills to present results in a concise, readable manner Ability to multitask Verbal communication and people skills (And persistence would be helpful)
· Exposure to the strategic sourcing lifecycle (e.g., spend analysis, RFPs, proposal evaluations, contract negotiations)
Other Skills
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are required. Access skills would be a plus. The Analyst will primarily prepare mini-business cases to support potential sourcing initiatives. Estimate cost savings and the investment to achieve those savings over time and likely representing them as NPVs. Wireless telecommunications industry experience would be a big plus, but not required. The Analyst will primarily be focused on quantitative analysis, but to the degree that there is aptitude and an ability/desire to contribute in the process area, the client will support that.
