Hudson has been engaged to identify an experienced business analyst and contract management professional to assist in market data product selection, data usage optimization, contractual compliance and cost management for a top tier investment bank.
Compensation to $90,000 plus bonus.
Principal duties:
1. Complete all assigned contract renewals on a timely basis, as well as manage the monthly assignment process of contract renewals globally alongside procurement.
2. Analyze the usage of the service and making recommendations to the business on removals of redundant/low used services
3. Analyze internal clients' on-going requirements for services and gather feedback to be used in negotiations
4. Liaise with global procurement to negotiate the best price for the contract based on the business feedback, user requirements and intention to renew
5. Work collaboratively with global procurement to identify and realize business opportunities which enhance the business value proposition and strengthen the value that both groups bring to the firm.
6. Maintain a current knowledge of industry and supplier environments through research and training.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required plus previous market data experience within a procurement, vendor management, contract management or business analyst capacity. Experience working with a Market Data Inventory such as FITS, FINOFFICE etc. is a big plus.
