We are looking for a Sr. Data Warehouse and Integration Architect. This is a permanent position with our client in Denver, CO. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field • 10 – 15 years experience with data warehousing • Expertise of the Java language • Capable of reading and writing EDI • Experience with the following technologies: Apache Tomcat, RDBMS, ActiveMQ, XML, LDAP, UML, BPEL, ANT, Web Services, Log4j, Spring Framework, MDX, Pentaho, Visual Studio with Business Intelligence Development, Google Web Toolkit, JavaScript, and Transactional Processing RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts and data stores while ensuring high levels of data availability • Strategically design and implement distributed systems using a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach • Assess and cultivate long term strategic goals for data warehousing in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients and other key stakeholders • Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures • Work with end users to identify, create and deliver reports according to requirements • Create models for new data warehouse improvement and growth projects • Diagnose and resolve data warehouse access and performance issues • Design and implement consistent systems, policies and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective availability, protection and integrity of data assets • Evaluate and recommend data warehouse components including hardware, database management systems, ETL software, data mining tools and meta data management tools • Provide emergency on call assistance when necessary To Apply: Apply Online Now!
