Responsibilities:
Work with the team to understand current state, and provide suggestions on portal conversion.
Help identify out of the box Portal functions that can be leveraged.
Educate the team about portal functions.
Be proactive in identifying potential issues with conversion strategy.
Provide custom solution for the application conversion.
Requirements:
WebSphere Portal v. 6.1
Strong experience using "out of the box portal functionality" (portal 6.1 environment) to implement Personalization and Navigation
Portal personalization and customization of various types
Portal security setup with LDAP
Virtual Directory Service experience a plus
Portal migration process
Knowledge of portlet sharing and caching mechanism
Virtual portals
Portal 6.1 themes and skins
Portal 6.1 with Web 2.0
Spring MVC
