We are looking for an Informix Developer/DBA. This is a permanent position with our client in Northern CO. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field • 5+ years software engineering/development/database experience • 3+ years experience with C programming in database environment (Informix 4GL and ESQL-C preferred) • 2+ years Informix database administration experience • Willingness to travel to other client production facilities (up to 15%) RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, maintain and support plant and corporate systems used to control manufacturing, warehouse management, shipping and corporate data reporting in AIX / Informix environment • Develop and maintain application software used to run plant automation systems • Provide technical direction for projects throughout the organization • Develop and maintain Informix 4GL and C application software • Develop and support Korn shell scripts used to run multi-billion dollar functions at processing plants that includes controlling scales, scanners, labelers, shipping functions and user terminals. Also includes gathering and analyzing all associated production, inventory and shipping data • Manage internal projects and assist with managing cooperative projects with other teams and departments • Project management could include project and resource planning, timelines, tracking milestones, and managing capital expenditure • After hours support required in an on call rotation • Some weekend project work required To Apply Apply Online Now!
