Hudson is seeking a local technical writer who will be responsible for the gathering, analyzing, translating and composing of technical information into clear readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Scheduled contract duration is 4-6 weeks. In-person interviews to take place the week of November 2nd. Candidate will be required to pass a background and drug test.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (technical communications, English, communications) or equivalent experienc
5+ years of technical writing experience including editing skills, preferably in companies developing financial applications
Must have excellent research, documentation and communication skills
Must have the ability to absorb business information quickly from a variety of sources
Must have experience in interviewing developers, vendors, and users in order to elicit correct and applicable documentation
Experience in the complete software development lifecycle including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, and testing
Must be able to review, edit, and proofread materials written by others
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Visio
