ADABAS Developer 3 Month Contract to Hire Phoenix, AZ Required Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of: Data Base Management System theory and practice ADABAS architecture Natural Security; Data Base Application design and implementation; z/OS Job Control Language and data base administration tool suites. Skills In: JCL and Application Coding using Natural, COBOL and CICS Natural Security; ADABAS data base and Application performance and tuning Designing logical data models and executing physical implementations. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Relationships include vendors, cross divisional staff; agency program staff, agency senior management, as well as staff and management of other governmental and private sector entities; leading and coordinating various projects with a variety of other staff to completion. Ability to: problem-solve and assist Application Teams with their ADABAS-based application development and maintenance; to isolate problems and identify resolutions of the problems and to quickly adapt to changing priorities and/or events. Candidates will have a working knowledge of ADABAS, Natural, Natural Security, COBOL, Adaprep, Predict and Natural Construct. The preferred candidate will have several years of experience working with these languages.
