Senior/Lead Software Tester

Sr./Lead Quality Assurance Analyst
Goal: To ensure that a robust software testing and quality assurance process is implemented so that application releases meet customer requirements with reduced errors and inconsistencies.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements for testability and identify risks and their mitigation
- Examine existing test cases for completeness and traceability to requirements
- Develop test cases to increase application coverage
- Develop test data strategy to support test cases
- Create test scenarios to ensure overall testability and coverage
- Develop test schedule estimates and track progress
- Analyze defects for traceability to requirements and scrutinize for completeness
- Evaluate QA process and make detailed recommended improvements
- Develop automated test scripts
- Regularly execute manual and automated test cases, help identify root cause of errors, and report issues
Required:
· Minimum 10 years proven work experience in IT and minimum of 5+ years working directly in software testing and quality assurance role
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from US accredited College or University
· Expert level knowledge of several testing and software lifecycle development methodologies
· Direct experience with front-end and back-end testing
· Understanding and experience with interface testing
· Certified in Software Testing or Quality Assurance
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as research and analytical problem solving skills in a dynamic environment
· Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of personal computer software applications including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and MS Project.
· Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools (Quality Center, QTP, Load Runner), including use or development of automated testing scripts
· Understanding of XML, HTTP, HTML, .NET, SQL and Java
· Experience with ISO 9000 or CMMI Level 3 standards and SDLC
· US Citizen or Green Card holders only
