My client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to be based in it's Washington DC or Reston, VA office. The Specialist is primarily responsible for shaping the Business Development Department (e.g. business development, client retention, referral management and communications) of the Washington, DC and Reston offices, as well as working with other offices on their business development needs.
Applicants for this role must have a minimum of five years of sales and/or business development experience, preferably in a professional services organization, with proven ability to generate and convert sales leads, or an advanced degree in a related field with prior experience in sales and marketing. Travel and extended hours are likely. A college degree, preferably in a marketing related field, is strongly preferred.
