HRIS Analyst with PeopleSoft HRMS Experience!

This is a contract to hire position with our client in Denver, CO.

Position Summary:
* Responsible for the development, documentation and refinement of processes and system enhancements associated with Human Resource Information Systems.
* Works independently to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and quality within specialized service areas. 
* Leverages in-depth knowledge of industry best practices.


Main Accountabilities:
* In addition to following the clients policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing subject matter expertise in HR related business processes and PeopleSoft HRMS functionality and system configuration
* Conducting business process mapping, fit gap analysis, and functional requirements definition
* Actively engaging end-users through all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring client satisfaction through timely communication and consistent completion of deliverables within critical timelines
* Coordinating user acceptance testing, and working directly with end- users to manage tasks associated with testing
* Supporting common business processes and tools, researching and evaluating alternative solutions, and developing business system concept analysis documentation
* Developing detailed functional design and system configuration specifications
* Working with PeopleSoft developers to identify and document system configuration requirements and specifications
* Executing project management activities within established standards and methodologies
* Conducting business process re-engineering to identify opportunities for improvement, and making appropriate recommendations; ensuring processes and systems are optimally aligned and that they follow industry standards
* Working directly with the system vendor to troubleshoot and determine solutions for complex issues
* Producing ad-hoc standard reports for various types and levels of end-users
* Strictly enforcing PeopleSoft security administration access control policies


Qualifications:  
* Education/Training: B.S/B.A. in Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent in education and experience


Knowledge/Skills:
* Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS Application Suite; technical knowledge preferred
* Solid knowledge of and the ability to use a PC and MS Office Suite.
* Solid ability to learn new computer applications
* Solid ability to multi-task in an effective manner and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
* Solid ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
* Ability to draft routine correspondence and manage information and data in a confidential and professional manner
* Ability to balance the demands of new projects, maintenance and support, customer expectations and staff development
* Ability to establish strong business relationships and work effectively with senior business and client contacts
* Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical users
* Solid written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal management, along with solid listening, facilitation and presentation skills
* Solid knowledge of IT software development methodologies and Internet and Intranet architecture
* Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, along with strong project and time management skills
* Ability to bring resolution to highly complex and stressful situations with multiple constituents


Work Experience:
* Five (5) years cross-functional business experience in areas such as business analysis, IT solutions development, technical project management, human resource management, accounting and budgeting, and client/customer relationships
* Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft applications
* In-depth functional experience with PeopleSoft HRMS Application Suite; technical experience preferred
