We have been engaged by our client to recruit their Senior Product Manager for Strategic Marketing. Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices and has been instrumental in advancing the practice of less-invasive medicine. This product marketing position will primarily be responsible for upstream marketing initiatives including all aspects of developing and launching new devices used to treat chronic pain. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Class III medical device marketing experience including previous product launch experience coupled with marketing strategy experience.
Responsibilities: - Establishing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field - Providing voice-of-the-customer driven marketing specifications for product improvements to the R&D team - Championing product commercialization activities across multiple internal and eternal groups such as design, packaging and labeling, regulatory claims, surgical technique generation, sales force education, and operations and planning - Determining and leading market research to identify market needs and the corresponding product solution opportunities - Acquiring and analyzing feedback from Key Opinion Leaders, current and potential customers, third party market research and internal stakeholders - Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in general and more specifically the segments targeted in neuromodulation - Developing and executing a comprehensive launch plan and strategy for the new product - Creating and implementing market development strategies to target key customers - Developing product positioning, marketing messaging and related marketing collateral - Developing sales and physician education programs
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree required - MBA or advanced degree required - 3-5 years of product marketing experience within the medical device industry is a must; Class III devices preferred - New product development experience preferred - Previous launch experience required
