Hudson is currently working with a fast growing multi-state retail concern to find a Controller for their corporate office in the North Dallas area. The following responsibilities and requirements include:
Responsibilities
- Perform a month-end close process
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to all levels of management
- Manage AP, AR, and General Ledger functions
- Perform cash flow analyses
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls
- Perform financial analyses for management
- Support needs of retail store management
- Process financials on a monthly basis
- Maintain security processes and procedures for all corporate assets
- Design and implement process improvement to reduce costs and improve speed and accuracy of financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate cost information
Requirements
- BS in Accounting
- CPA a strong plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Supervisory Experience (minimum of 3 years)
- Understanding accounting and inventory movement
- Multi-site operations strong plus
- Retail experience a strong plus
- AccPac Systems experience a plus
- Strong sense of urgency in responding to users of accounting information
Salary range is $75-80K. Excellent healthcare benefits package.
