Required Skills & Experience:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in RPG IV, CLP, DDS.
- Knowledge of AS/400 (iSeries) development environment / platform
- Ability to understand, work with, and satisfy client/user needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability/willingness to travel to client/project sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours to ensure that project objectives are met within established guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring completion of all phases in a timely basis within established parameters, including supervision, coaching, and development of project team members.
- Manage projects through all phases of project life cycle, ensuring that project objectives are met within established guidelines.
- Train end-users on completed system enhancements and corrections, and follow-up to ensure end-user satisfaction.
- Complete and document programming and design tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Direct design, program, and test activities, ensuring effective integration of programmer and end-user efforts to satisfy department objectives.
- Oversee and direct individual technical development programs to support company goals.
- Assess user needs and design solutions to system enhancements and maintenance.
- Interview, select, reward, and discipline staff; consult with Executive Director, IT Management on potential termination actions.
- Customarily and regularly exercise independent judgment and discretionary authority with minimal supervision.
- Set departmental goals and objectives and defines operating procedures and policies.
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and Compliance Program policies.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of company related business.
- Maintain effective communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- This person will act as the Disaster Recovery (DR) liaison between parent organization and other subsidiaries
- Assist with Process Flow Diagrams, IT Audit, Monitor Data Feeds (in & out), Manage Inventory Repository (frequency of data and who sent what)
