Reporting to the Senior Marketing Analyst, the Direct-to-Consumer Research Analyst will execute a deep-dive examination of available online data, serve as the primary contact between the Label and Online Business Intelligence staff, and advise Teams and Product Marketers on online product placement, merchandising, pricing, and sequencing. Primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining a Dashboard of title- and label-specific metrics, to allow for adjustments to the management of the Sports Label Direct-to-Consumer business on a daily basis. Other responsibilities will include drafting research reports on Direct-to-Consumer activities and white-paper recommendations describing optimal merchandizing plans, outlines of consumer outreach programs, and strategic recommendations to management regarding the Direct-to-Consumer business. The Direct-to-Consumer Research Analyst will also work closely with managers responsible for Sports Label Consumer Insights, and will be involved with A-B marketing testing, online store design, and merchandising opportunities. The Direct-to-Consumer Research Analyst will also be responsible for liaising with Development teams, to insure the correct technology is included in products to fully support Direct-to-Consumer opportunities. This position will also work cooperatively with Retail teams, to insure coordination between Direct-to-Consumer activities and Retail strategies. Responsibilities: Provide insights and recommendations to influence Direct-to-Consumer product development and portfolio decisions. Create and implement online surveys to measure consumer feedback for SPORTS Direct-to-Consumer initiatives. Analyze Online data, including information from the NOVA business intelligence data warehouse, DLC reports from platform manufacturers, and telemetry from titles, to provide insight into successful initiatives, as well as making recommendations on how to improve existing, or create new, Direct-to-Consumer programs. Create weekly, monthly and quarterly Direct-to-Consumer reports benchmarking the performance of Direct-to-Consumer Sports Label initiatives, versus both other titles, as well as competitors from other publishers. Conduct comprehensive DLC analysis, including competitive analysis, and timing/merchandizing recommendations drawn from other titles, both within the Sports Label and from other labels. Present analysis to key stakeholders, including Marketing Teams and Development Teams, as well as other research teams to ensure the whole business benefits from key learnings. Requirements: ¿ A Bachelor¿s degree in a business or computer science-related field is required, a Master¿s degree in a quantitative field or an MBA is desired ¿ Business analysis skills with three-or-more years professional experience in the field, specifically, a Direct-to-Consumer business with direct experience in strategy, analysis, and merchandizing. ¿ Knowledge and experience with quantitative and qualitative research, as well the ability to effectively connect consumer and market data. ¿ A research background grounded in an economic/statistical education, as well as relevant experience. ¿ Proficiency in Excel is very important. Candidate must also possess the ability to prepare documents/charts/graphs in Excel and PowerPoint on short notice. ¿ Previous experience or knowledge of MicroStrategy, or similar business intelligence reporting tools. ¿ Previous experience or knowledge of Oracle or SQL query languages. ¿ Knowledge of, and a passion for, for the entertainment industry. ¿ Knowledge of sports, specifically genres both within and outside core product offerings. ¿ Concise thinking and conceptual skills with a strong ability to analyze data and draw inferences. ¿ Experience with SPSS or other statistical software. Familiarity with a broad range of statistical techniques including regression analysis, as well as the ability to `crunch¿ data in multiple ways to produce complete, concise, clear and easily understandable evaluations. ¿ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with strong experience presenting data in a clear, concise manner. ¿ Ability to work both independently and as a member of multiple teams.
