This is a 6+ month contract position with an Oil & Gas company in Denver, CO. Job Role The Integration Analyst applies expert technical knowledge around data integration technologies for enterprise systems. This role includes reviewing source and target system interfaces and assisting with the requirements analysis of the key systems and inter-system dependencies. It will also involve identifying key business requirements within the "as-is" systems and accounting for that "as-is" system functionality. They will work directly or indirectly with the Technical Lead, Business Analysts, DBA, and Support Teams to ensure that all designed interfaces are completed according to the design. Specific duties include: - Providing hands on implementation of integration development based on the clients' best practices for integration development. - Primarily responsible for creation of the integration design documents and detailed requirements documents for each interface. - Working closely with Business Analysts to maintain the up to date interface inventory list - Maintaining the interface/integration design documents - Creating and maintaining the integration library - Interacting with the Technical Lead, Business Analysts, Vendors and other members of the technical team to understand source systems and how those systems are used. - Working closely with the Technical Lead and Business Analysts to clarify and or refine technical requirements. - Working with the Technical Lead to ensure the design fits within the clients' best practices. - Working with the Quality Assurance team to provide guidance for integration testing and sign-off requirements. - Analyzing interdependencies amongst high level architecture and detailed design specifications. - Validating and/or clarifying that the technical solution meets the business requirements with the Technical Lead, Business Analyst and SME's of the integrated systems. - Providing knowledge and guidance with Integration activities. - Providing knowledge and guidance with RDBMS's technologies. - Providing best practice guidance on interface development and methodology - Working with the clients' support teams to transition the knowledge around the implementation of the technology. - Participating in issue resolution, change control management, and risk mitigation activities. - Providing key document deliverables for technical deliverables being performed. Technical Requirements - 3 years or more developing and designing Integration solutions, ideally with either Informatica and Tibco - 3 years or more using Oracle and SQL Server. - 1 year or more working with Oil and Gas enterprise software systems - 1 year or more working with code management tools such as CVS or SourceSafe. - Experience working on 2 or more enterprise level projects with time critical delivery cycles and high visibility. - Highly skilled in Microsoft productivity tools such as Powerpoint, Visio, Word, Excel and Project.
