Program Manager for Test and Evaluation

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong technical background in test and evaluation of DoD information processing and/or operational systems. The successful candidate will lead a highly skilled technical team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the performance goals of the systems, developing metrics, planning experiments, and providing oversight for the technical team. The position will also require developing and managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with personnel in other divisions, managing subcontractors, providing regular status updates to the customer, and ensuring that the program meets or exceeds the customer expectations. The successful candidate will also be able to leverage test and evaluation experience to develop further business. Required Qualifications • M.S. or higher degree in computer science, engineering, math or a related field • 5+ years of program management experience • Experience writing winning proposals • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to think creatively and analytically • Disciplined and self-motivated with a strong work ethic • Knowledge of ground warfare and the military decision-making process • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance Preferred Skills: • OneSAF experience preferred, since this is a Army DARPA program • SW engineering experienced preferred • Masters/PHD preferred for educational background • 5 + yrs of Management of a small team (5-10 people) preferred, as opposed to large group PM experience • Some P&L experience required • Candidate should have knowledge and experience with Army program • Any additional knowledge of PEO/STRI and/or NavAir programs will be preferred, develop future business • Business development experience is preferred
