We have a short term contract need for a Java Developer for a great client in Allentown. There is the potential for an extension after 2 months.
Will be responsible for the design, development, testing, architecture, and deployment within a large-scale Java application development environment. May participate in off-hours beeper support rotation.
- Platform: Windows
- Backend- Hibernate/SQL (need mid level skill set)
- GWT (Google Web Toolkit) will be utilized for front end work
Experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit) a plus!
Required:
Proficiency with Java, especially J2SE.
Object Oriented analysis, design, and programming.
Proficiency in developing new, large-scale software applications.
Experience reading, understanding, and working with large existing code bases.
Familiar with Design Patterns and UML notation.
Familiar with use for profiling tools for execution analysis
Familiar with algorithm analysis and design.
Familiar with Eclipse, JBuilder, or equivalent Java IDE.
Experience working in a software development life cycle environment.
Experience:
Bachelor or technical degree preferably in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience.
