Job Title: Summit Developer with Summit Gateway OpenLoader API (6 Months Contract to Hire)/Chicago, IL EAD/GC OR US CITIZENS ONLY! SKILLS REQUIRED: Developer, Summit, Summit Gateway, Summit Classic, Summit FT, OpenLoader API, Trading JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. developer is required by our client to work with their Summit team. Sr. Developer will reengineer and enhance a preexisting interface between the current trading system and Summit. This would involve: • Using Summit’s OpenLoader API to augment the Loader Server Adaptor and Library to specification (experience with Summit’s OpenLoader API is mandatory) • Coordinating development and testing activities with peers • Project implementation support • Detailed technical documentation. Requirements: 1. Degree, majoring in Computer Science/Information Systems 2. 5-10 years of development experience with financial systems using current technologies. 3. Implementation experience with Summit Classic and/or Summit FT 4. Demonstrated expertise in Treasury applications such as: a. Liability Management systems: issuance and derivatives processing, analytics and reporting, mark- to-market and collateral management. b. Investment Management systems: settlement, accounting and financial messaging. c. Portfolio Management systems: analytics and financial valuation of complex structured transactions. 5. Strong with UNIX, Oracle PL/SQL, XML, Summit API. 5. Systems design, project coordination, development and implementation of complex financial information systems. 6. Documentation skills 7. Managing issues and actions for IT development projects. 8. Support major technology initiatives and tasks of the unit 9. Coordination of working teams 10. Close and constructive working relationships with management and staff in defining and resolving technology issues. 11. Conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills. 12.
