Manager of Physician and Market Development - Medical Devices

We have been engaged by our client to recruit their Manager of Physician and Market Development. Our client is located in Minneapolis, MN and is a leader in treating urological disorders. This role is responsible for driving market development initiatives to ensure that the Company is consistently growing the number of physicians using their products. Ideal candidates will have been in medical device sales and managed sales people coupled with 2-3 years of marketing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies addressing the development of Centers of Excellence. The successful plan will ensure that the Company has consistent and multiple contacts with the physicians and that they are aligned and aware of product offerings and clinical strategy and academic centers adopt the products for the purpose of resident training.


• Develop and implement strategies addressing a physician mentorship training plan to dramatically improve post-training adoption rates. The plan will include physician trainers, targeted selection and training and physician trainees.


• Develop physician training tracking tool to measure post-training adoption.


• Develop, plan and organize engagement strategy. Identify important physician groups for the Company to connect with and serve as Company liaison.


• Work closely with the Company's clinical team to develop criteria for and to help identify appropriate sites for clinical studies.


• Set strategies and manage execution of the Company's Market Development Program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred.


• Minimum of 5 years in sales within the medical device industry. Sales management preferred.


• A track record of success in developing physician relationships and selling in a competitive environment.


• In-depth experience with physician training in a HQ or field role and methods to improve post training adoption.


• Proven skills to effectively lead, develop and coach a high performing team.


• Strong business acumen.
